It's been a fairly wet November, so my  plans for trail riding have pretty much gone out the window.

I've managed to squeeze some road kays in the gaps between rain, and yesterday was a big gap...

Two Kosciuszkos

I like to think I don't take riding my bike for granted, but it's not often that I ride for a real purpose, or someone other than myself.

My usual trail ride is about 20k long and sees just over 300 metres elevation gain. For this year's RSM, I've decided to use Mount Kosciuszko as an arbitrary yardstick; If I ride my standard route fourteen times in November, I'll have climbed to the top of the mountain from sea level twice. That's a total of 280k, so I'll round up to 300ks for the month and see how we go.
