Tips for Fundraising

1

Social Media

Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter are the perfect channels to communicate your goal, update your friends and ask for support. Customise your Facebook profile by uploading a profile picture and post regular status updates to communicate your progress to your friends and family and ask for their support.

2

Matched Donations

Many companies offer financial assistance to their employees to encourage support of charities and good causes. This typically involves matching your fundraising total or making a large donation towards your fundraising efforts. Check with your HR department - all you need to do is ask!

3

Send An Email

Send an email around to your office colleagues or host a coffee morning with a gold coin donation – don’t forget to follow social distancing rules! Ask you workplace if they want to sign up as a team and encourage team bonding – the more the merrier!

4

Sponsor
Per Kilometre

Ask your friends or workplace to sponsor you for each kilometre you move throughout November. It's a great way to challenge yourself and stay motivated and they can even cap it at an agreed distance to make sure they know just how far you could go.

5

Donate The Price
Of A Coffee!

Ask your friends, family and support network to donate the price of a tea, coffee or hot chocolate to your campaign. Every donation counts and will help children living with a disability to cycle for the very first time.
